Sewing with a friend

I started my day out with a workout with my trainer than 30 min of cardio; I only have a few more sessions with my trainer than I'm on my own.
Then I spent the rest of the day with my friend, Christy, making a cribskirt for her expecting baby girl. Her colors are plum, cream and black and isn't "babyish" so she couldn't find a cribskirt to buy; so she decided to make her own. Our other friend, Allison, found the perfect fabric to go with the room. A few weeks ago we went to the store so she could get the fabric and pattern. Today we were just gonna cut it out but ended up finishing it. My sewing machine (it's just a cheapo) kept pooping out on us so we ended up finishing it up at her house on her machine. Looks like I'm gonna have to buy a new sewing machine. We tried it out on the crib and it looks awesome. Perfect fabric and perfect simply chic style. Glad I could help and be apart of it.
