Erica had a theatre competition today for the entire NEISD (North Eastern Independent School District for San Antonio); keep in mind these schools are HUGE here.
She participated in a group and individual competition. The winners for the individual competition that she participated in will be announced in the individual schools on Monday; so we have no clue how she did there but she believes the judges liked her.
But we do know that her group won for the pantomime category and each kid received a plaque. Okay, most of you (like me) are wondering "what in the world is pantomime"; it's silent acting with music in the background (not dancing).
We are anxiously awaiting the results from the individual categories.
She is so happy and so are we. Though even if she didn't win we are proud of her. She has a natural talent of acting, "drama", and just the arts. We always knew that she was "artsy" but have just recently realized her talent for acting.
Way to go, Erica!!!!
