Boy, did Erica and I have fun spending the day (Sat, 7 May) scrapbooking! My friend, Debbie Hansen, told me about it and she joined us for a day of fun. For only $15 each we were fed dinner, dessert, snacks, given a tote full of goodies ($40 value), 20% on purchases and use of the stores tools (diecuts, embossing, inks, cartridges, etc.). But the best part of all was spending time with my baby girl!
I have pictures that I took with my small camera but I'm having problems downloading them. Hopefully, pics to follow.
so jealous, I have yet to find anything here like that and all my pals are getting ready to go on the weekend retreat tha tI use to do biannually. :( I may be signing up to sell scrapbooking stuff come August time, so I may have to just host my own. $15 is a steal for an all day crop!!
ReplyDeleteI know $15 for all that; that's what made me decide to try it out. The one this weekend is from 10am, Friday to Sat @ 9am; but I won't be going until Jon gets home Friday. This weekend is $20 and they serve dinner and will have movies, WII and other things to get a break. Everyone wears their PJs. It's only about 15 minutes away at a Scrapbooking Store. The other one was a much better deal but was a special for National Scrapbooking Day.
